    Product Description

    PE insulation pipes are also known as PE outer protection pipes, outer casings, or sleeves. The direct-buried polyurethane thermal insulation pipe features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) protective layer on the outside, a polyurethane rigid foam filling as the thermal insulation layer in the middle, and a steel pipe as the inner layer.Polyurethane direct-buried thermal insulation pipes exhibit excellent mechanical properties and thermal insulation performance, along with strong impact resistance. Under normal conditions, they can withstand high temperatures ranging from 120°C to 180°C, making them suitable for thermal insulation projects of various cold and hot water pipelines and high-low temperature pipelines.

      Application And Usage

      Polyurethane ensures high resistance to chemicals, condensation, and corrosion, thus guaranteeing the long-term service life of pipelines. It demonstrates high resistance to extreme high and low temperatures (from -50°C to 135°C) and exhibits excellent insulation performance due to its low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ). For these reasons, it is often selected as a pipeline thermal insulation material. Polyurethane helps maintain the temperature of pipelines, avoid heat loss from pipelines, and prevent pipelines from freezing or bursting in cold climates.
       
      The thermal conductivity coefficient (λ) value of polyurethane is lower than that of other insulation materials such as wood, rock wool, and polystyrene, which is attributed to the high number of closed cells in rigid polyurethane foam. Therefore, the thermal insulation performance of rigid polyurethane foam is far superior to that of other insulation materials.
