1980 : After the establishment of Xiaozhuang Stamping Factory, it switched production to pipe fittings

January 4, 1996 : Led by Zhao Deqing , Xing Guanghao, etc., with an investment of 2 million yuan, Xiaozhuang Stamping Factory was restructured into "Yanshan County Canghai Pipe Fittings Manufacturing Co., Ltd."

April 16, 1996 : The company successfully manufactured ERW Φ426 bends made of X52 steel. This was a pioneering cutting-edge pipe fitting product in China at that time. 

April 22, 1996 : For China's key project "Jingxi Natural Gas Pipeline", an open bidding was held. Canghai Pipe Fittings Factory won the bid among 39 pipe fittings manufacturers from provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country.

1997 : Expanded share capital to scale up operations: Li Yanzhang, Zhang Xianzhong, Jia Ruijun, Wu Yuexing, and others invested and took shares; it became the joint-stock enterprise with the most investors in Yanshan at that time. By the end of the year, it ranked among the Top 10 Tax-Paying Enterprises in Yanshan County.

1998 : Increased investment in quality control, and became the first enterprise in the domestic industry to obtain the ISO9002 quality management system certification.

1999 : Obtained the qualification certification for power station pressure pipeline products. Since then, the company expanded its business from oil and gas transportation to the power and chemical industry sectors.

2002 : China's major national project "West-to-East Gas Pipeline" started construction. The X70, Φ1016×21, and Φ1016×17.5 products independently developed and produced by the company were the first to pass the test and appraisal by Xi'an PetroChina Tubular Goods Research Institute. For the station pipe fittings of the first West-to-East Gas Pipeline, 10% were imported, while the rest were all supplied by Canghai. The company was also named an "Outstanding Supplier" for the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project.

2002 : The P91 medium-frequency induction bends and X70-grade Φ1016×20—35 hot-pressed tees independently developed by the company have successively passed the appraisal conducted by national-level experts. Among these products, the X70-grade Φ1016×26 hot-pressed tee has filled a gap in the domestic market.

2004 : The company obtained the License for Manufacturing Qualification of Civil Nuclear Pressure Equipment, and began to provide high-quality pipe fitting products for the construction of national nuclear power plants.

2005 : The large-diameter thick-walled 347H stainless steel hot-bent bend was awarded the Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Certificate. It supported the world's first coal direct liquefaction unit—the Shenhua Coal-to-Liquid Project, and became the only supplier of large-diameter thick-walled corrosion-resistant pipe fittings for the project at that time.

2006 : Became an enterprise certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API) under API SPEC 6H-0013. Was awarded honorary titles such as "Hebei Provincial Famous Trademark Enterprise" and "Science and Technology Demonstration Enterprise".

2006 : Received the "Outstanding Supplier" honor awarded by the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Branch of PetroChina Company Limited at the Great Hall of the People.

February 29, 2008 : After visiting Canghai Company, Austrian business clients stated: Among several relevant enterprises we inspected routinely in Hebei, China, Canghai is the most powerful one. We feel happy to have gotten to know Canghai.

May, 2008 : The X80 Φ1219×22 R6D medium-frequency hot-bent bend for the second West-to-East Gas Pipeline was successfully developed by Canghai Company.

July 8, 2010 : The leadership team of the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project Department visited the company for an inspection, and positioned Canghai Group as a "Strategic Partner".

April 29, 2011 : The enterprise was restructured again and renamed "Hebei Canghai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd." The enterprise was upgraded to a national-level "High-Tech Enterprise". It achieved a turnover of 700 million yuan and tax revenue of 68.44 million yuan; it ranked first in tax payment in the county for five consecutive years.

November, 2015 : Canghai Nuclear Equipment successfully listed on the "New Third Board". The support from the capital market has provided broader room for the enterprise's innovative development.

2018 : The first Academician Workstation for Pipeline Components in Hebei Province was established.

2019 : The Hebei Provincial Laboratory for Deformation Research of Pipeline Metal Materials was recognized as a provincial key laboratory.

November 24, 2020 : Wang Pengfei, Deputy General Manager of the company, was named a national "Model Worker" for 2020, and received the award at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

2021 : The production line of the ODF project for longitudinal double-sided submerged arc welded steel pipes, together with the 3PE anti-corrosion production line, was put into operation. Since then, the company has launched a full-chain development model for pipeline pipe fittings.

2022 : The longitudinal double-sided submerged arc welded steel pipes (for oil and gas transportation) manufactured by the company using the orbital die forming process passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation, and its technological level reached the international leading level.

2023 : The company's independently developed "A Forming Process and Equipment for Tee Pipes Used in Pipeline Engineering" was approved and successfully granted by the South African Patent and Trademark Office. This patent technology became the company's first international invention patent.

2023 : Under the guidance of the Department of Science and Technology of Hebei Province, funded by Canghai Nuclear Equipment, the Hebei Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute for Pipeline Components was co-established relying on PetroChina Pipeline R & D Institute, Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute, and Yanshan University. Later, it was optimized and integrated with four institutes (Insulated Pipeline Research Institute, Welded Steel Pipe Research Institute, and Flexible Composite Coiled Tubing Research Institute) to form the Hebei Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute for Pipeline Industry.

2024 : The company was awarded the national-level "Key Little Giant" enterprise honor under the specialized, sophisticated, unique and new (Zhuang Jing Te Xin) enterprise category.

2024 : The company became the first enterprise in Hebei Province's pipeline industry to be recognized as a national-level Green Factory. This has promoted the company's transformation and upgrading toward high-end, intelligent, digital and green development.

2025 : The Valve Branch was established, and the company began to lay out the circular reuse resource market.

2025 : With the approval of the Market Supervision Administration of Hebei Province, the company became the only provincial-level inspection and testing center in Hebei Province's pipeline equipment industry, namely the Hebei Provincial Inspection and Testing Center for Pipeline Material Product Quality.

2025 : The company passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal for two projects: "Research on Key Technologies for Manufacturing L360 Steel Pipes and L415 Hot-Bent Bends for Hydrogen Transportation" and "Research on Key Technologies for Manufacturing High-Precision Bimetallic Metallurgical Composite Welded Pipes".

2025 : The company successfully completed the product supply for China's first long-distance hydrogen transmission pipeline—the Damao Banner Hydrogen Transmission Project. With a total length of 190 kilometers, the company became the main supplier by undertaking 92 kilometers of the project.

October, 2025 : The company was successfully selected as an "Advanced-level Smart Factory" in the second batch of Hebei Province's 2025 Smart Factory list.

Today, Hebei Canghai Nuclear Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. celebrates its 30th anniversary. What started as a seed of hope sown on January 6, 1996, has now grown into a towering industry benchmark with flourishing branches and leaves.
